Hi my name is Mayra Islas and I will like u to called me "lAdY cAt" >^.^< I was born on May 22, 1992 on Jalisco Mexico. I immigrated to the United States on August 2005 and I'm now a freshman High School student at Animo Justice Charter High School. My biggest dream is to become an astronomer and be able to see the stars with my own telescope. I love to study and I love to go school. I enjoy learning and discovering new things everyday in life. I love my family and cats are my obsession.

I'm 15 years old and I'm really happy because I just had a huge party for my Quinceanera like I dreamed since I was little. My best friend is my cat "CHISPA" and I wish to go back to Mexico soon. 

I love to have friends and take pictures with them. My best friend, a human being is my Glendis...............(Glenda). I met her when I got into High school and she has became like my sister and best friend.

My family is one of the most important things in the world for me. My mother is the person the I most admire in my life. She is really sweet with everybody. I think I need 10000000 people to compare her with somebody else. She is my best friend too but that's other story.

My brothers are awesome. I'm really proud of them because they taught me to be strong and become the person that I am now. They love me the way I am and they are always there for. If you can find somebody like them let me know, but I think it is too hard to somebody so HOT like them.

My family is the best thing I can have in this life. We are from Mexico a place full of celebrations and happiness. Our favorite Holiday is Christmas because is almost the end of the year. We like to make a huge party with a lot of presents to demonstrate the love that we never showed to each other during the current year.

As I commented before my cat is one of the most important things in the world. I love cats. Cats are my obsession. She is very lovely and cute. I named her "Chispa"...........(little spots) because she is black, white and yellow. She likes to fight against my brothers because they bother her a lot. She is my baby and I will never change her for anything else.

My Quinceanera party was last month on May 26, 2007. I still really happy about it because it was one of my biggest dreams ever since I had knowledge. Event though it wasn't like my dream with all my family, friends and in my little town on Mexico, it became the best experience of my life. I had a huge beautiful dress, a limousine and all my love ones around me. I want to say thanks to my mother for everything because my dream became true thanks to her.
